Place Trade Financial offers a variety of account types including:
- 401(k) Rollovers, Individual/Joint, Investment Club, Partnership, Corporate & Custodian accounts.
- Roth, Traditional, SIMPLE & SEP IRA's, as well as 529 Plans & the Coverdell ESA with no setup or maintenance fees.
Domestic Accounts
Place Trade Financial requires a minimum investment of $2,000 for Joint, Trust, Corporate and Partnership brokerage accounts. There are no account minimums to open an IRA. Open a Coverdell ESA with a low minimum of $500.00.
There are no maintenance fees for account inactivity or postage and handling fees for domestic accounts.
International Accounts
Place Trade Financial accepts unsolicited accounts from foreign investors* with the understanding that all accounts deal in US dollars ($), and have the availability of cleared funds prior to investing. Receipt of wire transfer of funds from a US affiliated bank constitutes "cleared funds."
Place Trade Financial requires a low minimum to open an international account. Open an account with a minimum of $5,000 equity in any combination of US dollars and/or US exchanged traded securities.
* Place Trade Financial is unable to open accounts for Canadian citizens living in Canada.
International accounts are charged $1.00 for postage and handling per monthly statement. If you elect to receive your confirmations via US mail, each confirmation will have a $1.00 postage fee. Confirmations sent via e-mail do not incur fees.
