Place Trade Financial offers a variety of account types including:
- 401(k) Rollovers, Individual/Joint, Investment Club, Partnership, Corporate & Custodian accounts.
- Roth, Traditional, SIMPLE & SEP IRA's, as well as 529 Plans & the Coverdell ESA with no setup or maintenance fees.
Domestic Accounts
Place Trade Financial requires a minimum equity investment of $5,000 for Joint, Trust, Corporate and Partnership brokerage accounts. The minimum equity investment to open an IRA is $3,000.
No fees for postage and handling fees for domestic or international accounts. Accounts are not charged for postage and handling as all statements, confirms and other notifications are delivered electronically (via email). If you elect to receive your confirmations via US mail, each confirmation, statement, notification, etc will have a postage and handling fee assessed. Confirmations, notifications, statements, etc. sent via email do not incur fees.
International Accounts
Place Trade Financial accepts unsolicited accounts from foreign investors*. You may choose a base currency to trade in and are not required to deal in US dollars ($). When you open your account you will have the opportunity to choose your base currency from most major currencies around the world. As with all other accounts; you must have the availability of cleared funds prior to investing. Receipt of wire transfer of funds from a US affiliated bank constitutes "cleared funds."
Place Trade Financial requires a low minimum to open an international account. Open an account with a minimum of $5,000 equity in any combination of US dollars and/or US exchanged traded securities.
