(Penson), is covered by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), up to $500,000 (including $100,000 for claims for cash). Penson has secured, through Lloyds of London, supplemental insurance of $35 million, including $900,000 maximum claim on cash. SIPC and the supplemental coverage do not protect against market loss.
